Artist Profile

  • Yasuyuki Oono

    Born in 1982, from Chiba Prefecture, Japan. Began self-taught guitar, piano and songwriting from the middle school. After enrolling in a music high school, studying vocal music and touching the world of classical music, he decided to become a singer-songwriter in order to sing in his own words and freely express himself. In July 2005, made a major debut from Toshiba EMI with "Kokoro no Note(Note of Heart)/Aishiteru(I Love You)". From the style of singing themes such as life, dream, and family, he was called "Singing Moral Lecturer" and has developed into school live at elementary, junior high and high schools throughout Japan. He had visited more than 1000 schools so far. In recognition of his achievements, he received the Human Power Grand Prix (Youth Edition National Honor Award) Grand Prix Prime Minister Encouragement Award in July 2008. While continuing to release solo works and works as an artist, he has also written and composed song lyrics for nine school songs so far, and has been used in junior high schools across the country, and has lyrics in textbooks on morals and home economics. In this like way, he is continuing on his unique path.
