"Winds of Impermanence" is the English version of the Japanese song "Mujō no Kaze," inspired by the words mujō (impermanence), mujō no kaze (the winds of impermanence), and mujō jinsoku (the swiftness of impermanence). Everything that is born must one day fade, and every flower that blooms must eventually fall. Yet if everything is always changing, sorrow cannot last forever either. Because nothing lasts forever, we have today. A song about life, love, and embracing the present in the ever-changing flow of time.
Kneeking Records is a label that expresses the journey through dictionaries in music. Founded by Yoshihiro Sato, a calligrapher, dictionary traveler, and former world kickboxing champion. Since 2013, he has read, written, and shared words almost every day. In 2025, he began transforming these works into music. The journey continues to grow. The sound spans reggae, j-pop, r&b, soul, house, gospel, funk, ska, and sometimes punk rock. It values the rhythm of language and creates music that feels natural and refined. Each piece is inspired by calligraphy and shaped into sound.
