HALlucinasion

-An irregular regularity, suspended between hallucination and illusion - built to sound out the glitches of consciousness.
It opens with a dance of perception dissolving into haze, contours lost. In the movement that follows, the organic and the inorganic, order and collapse- forces that should cancel each other out- coexist atop the gravity of a four-on-the-floor pulse, eroding one another as they go.
The meter then begins to mutate, over and over, dragging the listener into an equilibrium that can only hold by continually betraying its own rules.
And at the terminus, inside a euphoria that flickers like a strobe, life refuses to stop dancing on this contradiction-ridden ground.
Perception is betrayed again and again; and where the border between illusion and reality has dissolved, rhythm alone- carrying the warmth of a body- moves you forward.
A listening experience that cuts through four states becomes, in itself, an act of being alive. This work marks that critical point.
