Encounter TYO (Encounter Tokyo) Encounter TYO started as a worship service in Shibuya when music composer and worship leader Lauren Horii spearheaded the gathering in 2014. What began as a local phenomenon soon transcended geographical boundaries, drawing people from far-flung regions beyond Tokyo. Encounter TYO desires for people to encounter God through worship.
