The fourth piece in the Yuinichi series, "Scent of Wood Beneath the Gable," was inspired by the warmth of wood, soft light, and the quiet atmosphere of a garden surrounded by nature.

A very slow 3/4 pulse and intimate felt-piano tone give the piece a gentle sense of movement. Rather than drama or grandeur, it focuses on brightness, calm, and the feeling of slowly settling into a peaceful place.
