Lyric

Red lights blinking in the distance

Planes are sleeping by the gates

Highway running past the airport

Nothing asking me to wait

Windows holding my reflection

Music floating through the car

Every little row of lights

Looks like another line of stars

Keep the speed easy

Keep the volume low

There's a whole night waiting

Anywhere I go

Runway lights

Fading by my side

Runway lights

Floating through the night

Let the echo trail behind

Let the highway take its time

I can follow every glow

Till it's out of sight

One plane rising through the darkness

Slowly turning toward the sea

For a second I keep watching

Then the road comes back to me

Signs are glowing in the windshield

Another exit passes by

I don't need to know the ending

Of every road I drive tonight

Keep the speed easy

Keep the volume low

There's a whole night waiting

Anywhere I go

Runway lights

Fading by my side

Runway lights

Floating through the night

Let the echo trail behind

Let the highway take its time

I can follow every glow

Till it's out of sight

Red glow

White lines

One more plane into the night

Soft bass

Cool air

Leave the daytime somewhere there

Runway lights

Fading by my side

Runway lights

Floating through the night

Let the echo trail behind

Let the highway take its time

I can follow every glow

Till it's out of sight

Runway lights

Out of sight
