"Snowdrop" is an album with a collection of great songs, ranging from the incredibly catchy "Tomorrow Is A Long Time" to the thoroughly simple "The Rover." The musical hallmark of snowdrop lies in the beauty of its melodies and the exquisite sound of the violin, with "Cinnamon Sugar," included in this album, being its iconic track. Moreover, the songs in this album evoke music from various eras. For instance, there are tracks like "Whole Lotta Love" and "The Sheltering Sky," which carry the vibe of The Beatles, while others like "California" and "Don't Dream It's Over" hint at influences from the sounds of the 80s. Additionally, there are songs like "Last Goodbye" that inherit the beat of Motown. The lyrics consistently emphasize the theme of "loss in life," yet they also offer solace and hope. Considering the group was formed amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, their worldview can be described as constantly seeking realism. It's worth noting that all previously released singles have been remastered.
