Waive, who have announced that they will disband after their performance at Nippon Budokan on Sunday, January 4th, 2026, will release their final EP, "The SUN," a six-track album, on November 26th. The release date, November 26th, is also the birthday of Waive's leader and founder, Yoshinori Sugimoto.
This album includes a newly mixed complete version of "Days." and "END ROLL," which were first performed at the 2016 revival, as well as "BRiNG ME TO LiFE," Waive's final ballad, which appeared at the 2019 revival, "Hibana," a rock number that describes the inner thoughts leading up to the band's reunion and disbandment and was released digitally in June 2024, and "Sun," the latest song that was first performed at Waive's final tour. It also includes the exhilarating song "Baku," which was suddenly born on stage during the tour, for a total of six songs.
Waive(ウェイブ)は、日本の4人組ロックバンド。2005年に解散後、幾度かの再演プロジェクトを経て、2023年4月11日、正式な再結成および日本武道館単独公演をもっての解散を発表。公演日は『2026年1月4日』。
