• SMOKY DOGG

  Born on 26 March 1998 in Itabashi Ward, Tokyo. Following a vocal audition she attended at the age of 16 she met a fellow singer of a similar age and formed a twin-vocal unit marking the start of her career as a singer. Based in Ikebukuro Shibuya and Roppongi she performed live at venues such as live houses, covering the J-POP hits of the time. During this period her partner left the group, and she put her singing career on hold at around the age of 20. Subsequently influenced by various domestic and international hip-hop and R&B artists, she became deeply immersed in rap at the age of 22. On her 25th birthday she released her debut EP Episode I and began her career in earnest as a rapper. Her second single All my homies charted for the first time, reaching 13th place out of 200 songs in the Hip-Hop/Rap Top Songs chart on the iTunes Store (Taiwan). On 4 October 2024 7 March 2025 and 23 September 2025 he regularly hosted his own event Awesome Time at R LOUNGE in Shibuya. On 26 March 2025 exactly two years after his debut he released his first album This is SMOKY DOGG on his birthday. His lyrical flair honed over many years the tight rhymes and catchy ear-pleasing hooks delivered by his unique voice which switches between low and high registers depending on the track and his skilful flow that masters any beat. In addition to singing she is broadening her horizons as an artist in the field of art direction designing the cover art for her own releases and the flyers for her self-organised event Awesome Time Always humble and true to his roots he sings authentic lyrics and with his genre-defying music and style unbound by convention is breathing new life into the hip-hop scene as he aims for greater heights.
