NIPPON ONSEN KIKOU

After a year of daily visits to public baths, beatmaker NICKELMAN unveils Nippon Onsen Kikou, a bath-inspired album shaped by his hot & cold bath groove born from 365 days of immersion in sentō culture.

Supported by the bath-loving label OKE MUSIC FACTORY, the album will be released on February 6, 2026 - Furo Day,the once-in-a-millennium bath year - in limited 12-inch vinyl and cassette editions. A digital version will also be self-released on the same day.

A strictly Japanese groove curation, the album is a heavenly instrumental work overflowing with pure love for Japanese bath culture.

Inspired by the Nishi-style hot & cold bathing method, the album's ten tracks reflect 10 cycles,where diverse musicality rises like steam in a bathhouse and intertwines like shimmering water on its surface.

The cover artwork, created by 55555, features a unique collage reminiscent of nostalgic Japanese sentō atmospheres.

Together with OKB, the head of OKE MUSIC FACTORY, NICKELMAN traveled to neighborhood bathhouses and outdoor hot-spring facilities. From tour discoveries, hidden hot springs, and the gifts of nature, he crafted a sound journey that invites the listener beyond the veil of steam - a relaxation music experience that leads the ear into new scenic horizons.
