Memories of a Journey
Landscapes encountered along the way, changing seasons, and memories of people who remain in our hearts.
Moments that once seemed ordinary can become precious memories when we look back upon them.
Memories of a Journey is a musical reflection on those distant scenesa gentle blend of nostalgia, warmth, and a touch of longing, together with the quiet feeling of moving forward toward somewhere new.
Through the distinctive sound of the six-string bass, the music invites each listener to rediscover the landscapes of their own journey.
A journey remembered, a landscape carried within the heart.
Artist Profile
Makoto Shigehiro
Orchestrist Makoto Shigehiro. A solitary artist who walks an untrodden path, weaving sound, space, and silence into a one-man orchestral world. His works have reached No.8 (2021 "Beyond Oblivion), No.4 (2024 "Tourbillon"), and No.1 (2025 "When Dyed in Crimson") on the iTunes Instrumental charts. His music gently touches the heart, then quietly draws you deeper into emotion before you even realize it. Balancing tenderness and a hint of danger, his sound feels like a story meant just for you. With a truly unique aesthetic, he leaves an unforgettable resonance that lingers long after the last note.
