A hard drinking rock band born in Nagarekawa Hiroshima called Nora Inu also known as Stray Dog. Fueled by booze reality and rock and roll their mongrel sound clawed its way up from live houses into the streets. Raw and unapologetically human their music lays listeners emotions bare. In 2010 they released their first mini album Hana to Guitar nationwide. They continued with Ainahaina in 2017 and Norainu in 2019 selling over 7000 copies in total. In May 2017 they held a one man show Nora Inu Night Vol 7 at Hiroshima Club Quattro drawing 600 people and selling out cementing their presence in the local scene. Frontman Naohiro Tabii is also active as an actor appearing in films such as Love on the Radio She Dances in Dreams Koi no Hana Theater and Fools Blues expanding his expression across both music and film. On May 10 2024 the band performed the national anthem at a professional baseball game between the Hiroshima Toyo Carp and the Chunichi Dragons at Mazda Stadium. Born from the nights of Nagarekawa Hiroshima the stray dogs are still howling somewhere tonight.
