Recent studies suggest that certain frequencies and sounds may help reduce motion sickness.
This work is an experimental sound created as an attempt to apply those findings to game-related motion sickness (3D sickness).
* How to Use
Before starting a game, listen for 1-2 minutes at a comfortable volume through headphones or earphones worn on both ears.
Playback in only one ear will not be effective. Please avoid listening at high volume.
If using speakers, listen from a position where the sound is centered.
*Headphones are generally more effective.*
Small speakers, such as those on smartphones, often cannot reproduce low frequencies, so the effect may be limited.
It is not necessary to keep playing the sound during gameplay.
Depending on the individual and the type of game, the effect often lasts for several tens of minutes.
After that, you can listen again depending on your condition - for example, before scenes where you tend to feel sick.
* Additional Notes
- Bluetooth earphones and noise-canceling mode can be used without problem. EQ is best kept off.
- Listening at a volume that feels uncomfortably loud will not enhance the effect. On the contrary, it may leave a heavy or unpleasant sensation in your head and have the opposite result.
- Depending on your constitution and condition, games that were previously unplayable due to sickness may become playable, though you may still feel mild symptoms.
* Please Note
- This is an experimental sound. It is not intended for medical purposes.
- Please use it at your own discretion and responsibility.
- If you experience discomfort or unpleasant sensations, stop immediately and take a break.
- Do not use if you have a history of dizziness, hearing loss, or ear disorders.
