"Imperfect Love"
We care deeply for one another, yet we cannot be together. Had things been just a little different, perhaps we would be standing side by side, laughing right now.
It is too ambiguous to be called mere "romance," yet too bittersweet to be called simply "love."
This song portrays that "indescribable love"the kind where you keep thinking of someone while harboring feelings that words cannot fully express.
Set to a delicate R&B-style sound, it gives voice in raw, honest words to the regrets and wishes everyone has felt at some point: "What if...?" "If only things had been just a little different..."
If one were to give a name to this love that defies simple labels...
It would surely be "Imperfect Love."
