"Nante kotta, panna cotta."

It was supposed to be a sweet night.
The usual restaurant, red lipstick, glasses raised for a toast.
But when an old flame unexpectedly appears, a perfect date suddenly starts falling apart.

The more he tries to explain, the deeper he digs himself into a hole.
And left untouched on the table is a panna cotta no one ever got to taste.

Inspired by late-1970s Japanese kayokyoku, the track blends a playful Funk groove with the deep low end of Detroit Trap.

The title is deliberately silly.
The ending, however, is a little bittersweet.

A retro romantic comedy song about a sweet dessert-and a love story that turns out to be anything but sweet.
