    HIGH BONE MUSCLE

The second full-length album from HIGH BONE MUSCLE, released five years after their previous work FILMS.

Created during the COVID-19 pandemic, this album became a collection of human anthems born from the band confronting what it means to live and continue making music in uncertain times.

The expanded arrangement style first introduced in the pre-release digital single Prism, blending traditional band sound with additional sonic elements, has evolved into a more refined form. The album stands out through its immersive use of percussion and synthesizers, creating a rich sense of space throughout the record.

The ten-track album includes Kanseito, driven by an impressive shuffle beat, and Karmer, the bands first rap-focused track, showcasing the unique musical sensibilities of all three members while pushing the boundaries of their expression.

Using motifs of space, stars, and galaxies to portray loneliness, the album captures the bands vision for their next stage in a deeply expansive and emotional work.

In addition to live house performances, they began live streaming activities in December 2018. Their high-quality broadcasts, powered by cutting-edge equipment, have been highly praised across various platforms. While each member has built their own identity through solo projects, songwriting, and support work, their latest release Anywhere, their first in three and a half years, brings the spotlight back to their roots in guitar rock. The record serves as a bridge connecting their past and future. Musical Style Centered around rock music characterized by intricately crafted guitar arrangements, HIGH BONE MUSCLE also embraces influences from HIP HOP and R&B, showcasing remarkable musical versatility. At the heart of their music are the introspective yet compassionate lyrics written by vocalist and guitarist Kei Suzuki. His stories about life and human emotion resonate deeply across generations and beyond genre boundaries. Songs that become a place to belong for you.
