Turtles, beetles, colorful chicks, and rows of fascinating stalls made the world seem bigger and brighter than ever before.
As a young boy, I wandered through that exciting place with wide eyes and a heart full of wonder.
Then, on the way home, I unexpectedly met a girl from my first-grade class.
We had barely spoken at school, yet somehow we shared a few words that night.
I still don't know if it was a first crush or simply a special childhood memory.
But I remember the lanterns, the colorful chicks, and her smile as clearly as if it happened yesterday.
