ubique is an internet-born music unit formed by Vocaloid producer/composer Wataru Sena and singer Sana. Their concept is to deliver messages that affirm and support people who, in an age that demands constant social interaction, still feel "I want to be alone" or "I enjoy my time alone." Their collaboration track aimai has surpassed 2.83 million views on YouTube, and Hitori Tabi has exceeded 2.74 million views. With anticipation building for another collaboration, the duo officially formed ubique in April 2025-marking the 10th anniversary of aimai-and began releasing music regularly online. In June 2025, they debuted with their first track, Odoritagatteiru("My heart wants to dance").

Their latest song, Yūyake to Kazegusuri ("Sunset and cold medicine"), is a rhythmic mid-tempo pop number that captures the days spent living on the "edge" of emotion through a tender yet earnest lens. It depicts the lingering pain that remains even when you feel fulfilled, and the suffocating weight of being bound by what's "right," all painted like a fleeting scene from everyday life. In the glow of the setting sun and the small granules of medicine lies a quiet promise to forgive oneself. Sena's delicate, buoyant melodies and rhythms intertwine with Sana's voice-light yet resolute-resonating as if to embrace both vulnerability and quiet humor. It's a song that stays close to those who continue walking forward, even while lost in uncertainty.
