    Yuka Kashimoto | Singer Songwriter Born in Yoshino, Nara, and currently based in Osaka, Yuka Kashimoto is a singer songwriter. She began singing in bands at the age of 16, and started her solo career as a ukulele artist in 2016. With gentle, soothing sounds, she sings in a way that blends into the atmosphere and into you. Her music captures fleeting moments of everyday life and the subtle changes of the seasons. Since 2018, she has been organizing the [Yoshino Tanabata Festival], a music event held in her hometown of Yoshino, Nara. In December 2021, she held a solo concert at Shinsaibashi JANUS and released her first album [Utakata no Hibi]. She also creates her own artwork, including acrylic paintings and design for her releases. Marking her 10th anniversary in 2026, she has been releasing one song each month since March. In November, she is scheduled to hold her first large scale anniversary concert at Hattori Ryokuchi Open Air Music Hall, with a capacity of 1,000 people.
