This mini album marks the first release since changing the bands name from Ryoichi Yamada and the After Souls to simply Aftersoul.

The album also introduces previously unperformed new tracks, including Gimme More, a cynical take on a modern lullaby for a generation seeking dopamine hits in 15 second loops, and Vitals of Melancholy, which channels the physically and emotionally grueling passion for crafting music and lyrics into the sheer difficulty of creating a single note and questioning its ultimate meaning.
