Unbound by genre. Unbound by expectations.

UNBOX is an EP created to give listeners a deeper look into who BabyNyca truly is. Raised between two cultures Japan and the Philippines I found my place through music, and this project is a reflection of my journey, unapologetically and authentically.

For the first time, I'm opening up and revealing everything I've kept inside: my weaknesses, struggles, desires, love, and confidence. Like taking each piece out of a box, I've laid it all bare.

One of the central themes of this EP is freedom from labels and limitations. Each track was created on a different style of production, ranging from trap and melodic records to Jersey-inspired sounds and beyond. Despite the variety, every song remains undeniably BabyNyca. I wanted to prove that my identity as an artist goes beyond any single genre.

This project was built by trusting my own instincts and talent rather than following trends or expectations.

UNBOX represents where I am right now not only as an artist, but as a person.

Through this EP, I hope you discover a side of me you've never seen before.
