After Japanese rapper SKRYU had his first smash hit "Out of Memory", he decided to quit the salary man life and become a full time rap artist.

Since his first encounter with %C (Percent C) a.k.a. Toshiki Hayashi, the two's immediate chemical reaction came together in the song "VENT" and showcased the blend of the two artists' musical perspective.

Through SKRYU's passion, he uses his unique melodic flow to continue to pursue his dreams of a bigger stage.

Now, from the ticket gates of a small unmanned country side train station, all the way to big city Tokyo, his IC card is charged.

1996年生9月3日生島根県出身。愛媛県松山市のRapper。4THCoastを代表するDisryから大街道サイファーを受け継ぎキャリアをスタート。路上でのフリースタイルラップをきっかけに、中四国地方を中心としたMCバトルに挑戦し始める。キャリア3年目の2018年にはLibra Recordsが主催するULTIMATE MC BATTLE 愛媛予選にて優勝。3度目の出場である2020年大会本戦では、愛媛代表としてベスト4まで進出する。翌年2021年には9sari Group 主催のKING OF KINGS 2020GRAND CHAMPIONSHIPFINALに出場、同年に出場した戦極MC BATTLE 23章では、チャンピオンの座を奪い取った。 MCバトルの功績はもとより、楽曲こそSKRYUの真骨頂である。2020年4月にリリースした自身初のEP【SCREEN SAVER】は iTunes Store ヒップホップ／ラップトップアルバム（日本）にて1位にチャートイン、同年12月にリリースした2nd EP【SHORT CUT】も同チャートにて最高順位2位を記録した。どこか懐かしさを感じるダンサブルなサウンド。生活感のあるリリック。ラップ、メロディー、ハーモニーを自在に操る "小気味良いスタイル" がSKRYUの十八番と言えるだろう。癖のあるGrooveと独特の世界観を是非、体感してほしい。

TOSHIKI HAYASHI (%C) is a Tokyo-based DJ, beatmaker, and music producer. Rooted in hip-hop, he creates music across a wide range of genres including City Pop and R&B. In 2019, he released the TIME IS OVER EP featuring BASI and Mamiko Suzuki from Manhattan Records, followed by his full-length album City to City, Coast to Coast in November 2024. He has produced and remixed music for artists such as iri, SKRYU, and chelmico, as well as Tokimeki Records and CBS, contributing high-quality works across both major and independent scenes. In addition, he performs nationwide as the support live DJ for the rap duo chelmico.
