Flew across, then vanished out of sight

The darkness creeps close behind

Horror and fear escape confined

Devouring worlds and endless space

Chaos casts its glaring eyes

No order, no constancy to embrace

Kali-Yuga paints its darkened skies

Step by step, the universe is cleaved

The cosmos teeters on a knife

The law of creation is deceived

And light dissolves in blackened strife

All living things fall still, frozen

Awaiting vast and fearsome change

The era of Darkness and of Shadows rises:

No good, no evil… only decay remains
