At a time when I felt stuck in life in central Tokyo,
I visited Biei, Hokkaido for the first time in 2023.
There, I encountered an entirely different world the vast sky opening toward the Daisetsuzan mountains,the crystal-clear air,and the endless stretch of land.
The sense of release and inspiration I felt in that moment,
as if my heart had finally opened,became the foundation of this song.
Two years after its creation,
I have now relocated to Asahikawa, Hokkaido,and am finally able to release this piece.Mizusawa 20-sen, referenced in the title,is a long, straight road that runs through Biei,leading toward the forests of Daisetsuzan.
From flat open fields, the view expands into mountain ranges
and eventually into the vast sky.
The vocals are performed by Hatsune Miku,with chorus by myself a collaboration that has been a long-held dream.
In moments when life feels overwhelming or when you feel stuck,I hope this song can gently lighten your heart.
Please feel the vast sky and wind of Hokkaido.
