THINGS to Release New Single "Midnight Silence" on November 10, 2024
In 2024, THINGS expanded their presence with performances at events like CHIMERA GAMES and the Sagamiono Monje Festival. Looking ahead to 2025, they are set to appear at Music Lane Okinawa, continuing to broaden their reach. The new release, marking the second consecutive month of new music, reflects this momentum.
The track encapsulates the essence of THINGS, which they have developed through their focus on "nostalgic pop music" and "a sound and arrangement that goes beyond mere nostalgia." This song distills the group's distinctive style, honed through their creative journey.
As with their previous release, the recording and mixing were handled by Keisuke Mukai, while mastering was done by Moe Kazama, and Lina Ichimiya was in charge of the artwork.
The title "Midnight Silence" embodies the idea of "pitiful, noisy words, born from the self-centered confession of a protagonist who has been rejected, quietly resonating in the pitch-darkness of midnight."
A surprise live event to announce this release will be held on November 9, 2024, at Amazon Music Studio Tokyo. A lyric video is also scheduled for release on November 17, 2024.
