  Guitar rock band nyuma In June 2023, guitarist/vocalist Kawashimo, who had previously composed music alone, started nyuma based in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture, with the desire to record his own songs. In August of the same year, their 1st EP, "Aimai Saisei" (Ambiguous Rebirth), was released on various subscription services. Live performances began in September. Their first music video, "Aimai," posted to YouTube in November 2023, garnered attention with over 60,000 views. In 2024, they expanded their activities with three consecutive monthly releases and an increase in the number of live performances. In May 2025, they passed the music audition for "RO JACK for ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL 2025," further increasing their nationwide recognition. Based on a poppy, fast-paced four-on-the-floor sound, their addictive guitar riffs and melodies, which stick in your head after just one listen, are expanding their listener base. In live performances, they leverage their extensive experience as audience members at numerous live music venues to deliver powerful performances that convey energy and emotion that cannot be fully expressed through recordings alone, creating shows that deeply move the hearts of their audience. They are steadily expanding their listener base through both the real-world energy cultivated in live music venues and their reach to online listeners via social media.
