"Sketchbook" is a song about how we can keep moving forward, one step at a time, even while we're still a work in progress.

Shaky lines, tear stains, and even the fragments of dreams I've torn up-all of these will one day become "my outline." While still grappling with the fear of a blank page, I sang about my determination to keep drawing-and keep living-as I please, weaving this resolve into the scenes of my daily commute home.
