横浜出身のレゲエDeejayユニットJunky'sのBACARDIからEP配信に先駆け1st Singleをリリース。この作品はBACARDI自身が身近に感じている、アンダーグラウンドで夢を追っているDancehall業界を表した作品である。様々な登場人物が描かれるVerseと「皆で合唱できるようなHook」に注目して欲しい。今回のリリース以降もソロの作品、Junky'sの作品のリリースに目が離せない。

  • BACARDI fr.Junky's

    Born in January 1999 and raised in Yokohama, BACARDI started his musical career as a member of the crew Junkys. In October 2024 he released his first single titled NEVER, which portrayed the dreams and struggles of the underground dancehall scene. Later he collaborated with Soltswamp, an all-genre DJ based in Koriyama, Fukushima, on the track Ware by Soltswamp featuring BACARDI from Junkys. Through this, he expanded his creative range within the reggae field. In December he made his official solo debut with a five-track EP titled BACARDI. Songs like JOURNEY and W featuring TAMAZO showcase his ability to combine energetic beats with lyrics that shine a light on personal stories. With a strong presence on stage and hooks that move the crowd, BACARDI brings together the raw energy of the streets and the vibe of the night. He is gaining attention as a rising artist in the reggae and dancehall scene.
