Kohei Kamoto to Release Second Preceding Single "Wonder" on November 5 (Wed)

Kohei Kamoto - a member of DYGL and a bandmate of Yuma Abe - announces the release of his debut solo album Dangle Candle, set for November 26, 2025 (Wed). Drawing on his experience from touring and producing both in Japan and abroad, Kamoto takes full control of the creative process, handling songwriting, recording, mixing, and artwork himself. Ahead of the album, the second preceding single "Wonder" will be released digitally on November 5 (Wed).

"Wonder" marks a clear shift from his previous single "Car," wrapping listeners in a gently dissolving, mellow rhythm. Kamoto's wistful vocals blur softly into the mix, as tender guitar tones hover nearby, lending warmth and intimacy. Beneath the surface, tape-stretched synthesizers shimmer and a sampled trumpet drifts through the soundscape like the lingering scent of jazz. Each phrase melts into the night air, evoking quiet nostalgia and a sense of closeness. It's a song that feels like watching city lights fade from a car window - intimate, cinematic, and deeply human.

As with his previous work, Kamoto plays every instrument himself and also handled the mixing and artwork. Yuma Koda joins as arranger and co-producer, adding depth and subtle movement to the organic, emotionally resonant production. Mastering was handled by Hiroshi Ikeda of hmc.

Released under Yuma Abe's label, Thaian Records, "Wonder" offers another glimpse into the sound world Kamoto is shaping - one where tenderness, silence, and light quietly intertwine.
