This work serves as a counterpart to the "Body Meets Dress" EP released in February, featuring remixes of four tracks from that EP by various artists.
The participating artists include phritz quoree from PAS TASTA, a group of sound enthusiasts from the Internet community; Kore, a Vocaloid producer gaining recognition in the pop scene through collaborations with artists like yama; and nu_imi, a mysterious remixer who also primarily works with Vocaloid music.
For Blume popo, which produces music under the condition that its composer, Dan Yokota, resides in Germany, the Internet has taken on a new meaning, functioning similarly to a studio. As this virtual space evolves, so too does the "dress" that the "body" wears. This work further explores the theme of "self" that was central to the previous release, while also questioning the concept of a "band". Specifically, it asks what defines the "sound" of a band when the members are dispersed, and what space is necessary for a band to exist.
We hope you will find your own answers by comparing these two works.
