We are Momorie(Rie - vocal and Mari - pianist / composer), which delivers healing jazz sound feels the changing season, the color of the sky, the fragrance of the forest and the wind.
Momorie is a unit consisting of vocalist rie and pianist Mari Momose. Mari Momose is a renowned pianist and composer known for her healing jazz/ soothing jazz piano music. Inspired by nature, she creates melodies reflecting changing seasons and sky colors. Beginning piano at age 2, she attended Toho Gakuen University Faculty of Music and has since performed nationwide. Notable collaborations include NHK's "SONGS" alongside Chris Hart and various artists. and 11 released CDs. Her November birthday concerts regularly draw over 100 attendees. Her original piece, "Kumo wo Nuketara," is featured on Nikkei Morning Plus FT. With 15,000 Facebook followers, she spreads music's healing power through performances at medical facilities. Rie was born and raised in Yamagata Prefecture, and after graduating from high school, went to Canada to study singing at the Ashley Ingram School of Music.
Momose Mari is a pianist and a composer. The original songs are "Healing Jazz" that give you the feeling of the seasonal changes, the colors of the sky, and scents of the wind. Mari was born and raised in Kanagawa prefecture. She started playing the piano at the age of 2, and after entering the Toho Gakuen Music University, she began performing all over the country.So far, she has released 11 CDs as her own compositions and arrangements, and has CD release tours every year. "Healing jazz" is a crossover music style by Mari Momose, which has jazz harmonies and ad-libs based on classical music's elements. Her original song "to above the clouds" is used as the ending theme for BS TV Tokyo's morning news program. She also does concerts at hospitals and volunteer concerts for people with disabilities. Her facebook page has over 8000 followers. Now she continues her musical activities to heal people's hearts with beautiful music.
