On the 19th of last month, Tomoe Takizawa released the lead single 'eden' from her new album "eden*". She will release the second single, 'forever (short ver.)', as early as December 5th.
Characterized by her swaying yet bewitching vocals and beautiful lyrics, 'forever' blends with a raw, almost underground-sounding band sound, creating a soulful track that moves between stillness and motion-truly Takizawa's signature style.
Following 'eden,' Tsurugi Mikito (LOLOET) returns on bass and Cookie (sheeplore) on guitar. This track also features hamachi, a percussionist/drummer active across various scenes including LOLOET and HUGEN, and the highly regarded improvisational pianist Endo Fumi. Additionally, saxophone by Daisuke Okuzumi (known for supporting South Penguin), flute by Wakana Ikeda (The Ratel), and effects by LEXUZ YEN are added, making this an epic lyric poem by a total of eight artists.
Mixing and mastering were handled by rapper/producer LEXUZ YEN.
The jacket artwork is by Tomoe Takizawa herself.
Recorded at Setagaya REC Studio, Michiro Inatug served as the recording engineer for this track.
A singer-songwriter from and based in Hokkaido. Has released four albums to date via Narisu Records and HEADZ.
