This poem interprets the word otokogi from the perspective of Katsuji Ijima, who wrote the lyrics.

My hope is that those who forget the spirit of helping the weak will not turn into people tomorrow who have deviated from the human way and are far from being ``human spirits'' who never forget a flexible heart and kindness even in the face of difficulties.
