Soon stop di rain

Time again

You can touch the sky

Pain & gain

From harder day からのFly away

You can touch the sky

Pain & gain

Tag

You can touch the sky

Pain & gain

Ghetto Lights Riddim is a one way EP representing the next generation of Japanese Dancehall featuring ACEMARK ZERO KURO FU-TEN and SHOWGA.

The title Ghetto Lights carries the meaning of reaching for a faint light while overcoming the environment you were born into and the reality you are living in now.

Japan has a different lifestyle and social background from Jamaica. However the feeling of facing hardship and pushing through difficult situations is the same everywhere.

This project is not an imitation of Jamaican culture. It is Japanese Dancehall rebuilt from real life experiences in Japan and presents the current position and future potential of the next generation scene.

Artist Profile

  • ACEMARK

A reggae dancehall artist from Iki Island, Nagasaki Prefecture. ACEMARK is a real speaker who sends powerful messages from a remote island to the world. Influenced by his older brother from a young age, he was deeply impacted by rock and reggae, which led him to start singing. Later, traveling to Jamaica and encountering the raw sound of the island, he discovered his true musical mission. His lyrics woven with soul deep cries and sharp social insight strike straight at the hearts of listeners. After meeting Jamaica based producer GACHA MEDZ, ACEMARK began collaborating with local artists, eventually sharing stages and tracks with top figures of modern Jamaican dancehall such as VYBZ KARTEL and MASICKA. His voice is a soul cry of resistance against the Babylon system, while at the same time a light that ignites hope and love. ACEMARK true to his name, an artist who leaves a lasting mark on his era.
