lies (feat. GUMI)

A new single, "lies (feat. GUMI)," will be released on April 1st, 2026.

Following our January 2026 release, "tonight (feat. GUMI)," which featured a shuffle beat, this new song is an ambitious work that incorporates R&B elements for the first time!

It utilizes many sounds never used before, such as synth drums, compressed bass tones, and heavily distorted guitars. The outro also incorporates a technique of fading out with alternating time signatures, creating a structure that keeps you engaged until the very end. Please enjoy listening to it!

The title "lies" means "lies," but these are not lies meant to hurt others, but rather lies told to protect oneself.

Originally, the lyrics were about a protagonist who is still hung up on a past relationship and tells themselves that they will one day meet their ex-lover again to move forward. However, the music video for this song unfolds an alternative story where "love" is replaced with "longing."
