90HYPEs was newly formed in the summer of 2023 by Ryoichi Suemori, vocalist of the popular metalcore band Sailng Before The Wind, who has been active mainly in Tokyo, and Strong Watari, an up-and-coming singer-songwriter who has won two previous contest awards. Ryoichi Suemori's mournful, high-tone clean voice shows his new frontier as a vocalist, while his signature shouts are sampled and coexist with a pleasant texture. Strong Watari's introspective rap evokes a sentimental landscape with its unique melody. 'blueself' highlights the moment we affirm the sadness and wounds of the past, reconnects with their meaning, and looks forward again, back to the everyday.

Formed in 2024, the band is led by Ryoichi Suemori, former vocalist of Sailing Before The Wind, and singer-songwriter Strong Watari, joined by guitarist Kairi Murotani and drummer Naoki. This pop-mix band blends bass-heavy music with shouts and rap, creating a fresh and unique sound.
