    Bukkoromomoka

Former NMB48 member Momoka Kinoshita began her solo music activities in 2019 after graduating in 2017. In February 2023, under the moniker "Bukkororo Momoka," she made a dramatic shift from her previous acoustic and band-set style toward hyperpop, electropop, and bedroom pop. Early on, she took charge of her own DTM production and completed a five-track EP titled Tokimeki Gachi Real, in collaboration with Chiaki Mayumura, Kanano Senritsu, Amane Uyama, honninman, and others.

Shortly after releasing that EP, she rolled out a year-long series of monthly releases and delivered numerous live performances. Recently, she's been energetically active-writing songs for NMB48 and appearing as a guest artist with a variety of musicians.

Now, she presents her first full-length album, Like a Ghost. This eight-track record includes her newest songs already showcased live. While retaining her signature aggressive electronic production, the album also glows with a DIY, nostalgically tinged electro sound reminiscent of Yaeji or UMI. On the track "Shitai," scene standout Cwondo joins as arranger. And on "Anata wo Sasou," Shinichi Ito (HINTO / SPARTA LOCALS)-who served as support guitarist during her time as Momoka Kinoshita-contributes guitar. By intertwining contemporary music-scene contexts with her own artistic journey, she has crafted a true masterpiece.
