By Someone's Prayer

We do not live by our own strength alone.
Somewhere along the way, we may have forgotten that simple truth.

Just 80 years ago,
young lives the very future itself departed for war,
carrying thoughts of their loved ones and dreams of a tomorrow they would never see.

I spent several days in Chiran, Kagoshima
a place where those young souls once left for battle
and I came to realize how deeply my life today is supported by countless prayers from the past.

I am alive because of someones prayer.

Now, at the age of 30,
I, too, wish to be someone who prays for others, for something beyond myself.

Through music, I believe it is my mission
to share the spirit and beauty of Japan with the world.

May Japan reclaim its dignity,
and may it become a guiding light for peace across the globe.
