  Django once said Youll understand why you lived when you die This philosophy lies at the heart of his music Born in 1998 in Zushi Kanagawa Japan Django began building his roots in the local music scene before founding the Yokohama based crew Back Street Blues in 2019 The current lineup consists of MCs Django QONN ASAHI Navy Joe and Allen alongside DJ 5EIYA and photographer SKYWALKER In 2023 Back Street Blues released their second album IN THE AREA The track BSB CYPHER featured on the album gained significant attention and led to the crews first one man show at THE BRIDGE YOKOHAMA drawing an audience of 140 people With their creative approach to music and intense live performances Back Street Blues have steadily expanded their presence across the scene performing at venues including HARLEM or club bar FAMILY and YOKOHAMA COAST garage plus while building a dedicated following In 2021 Django released his first solo album PAIN SHADOW As his debut solo project the album marked the beginning of his journey as a solo artist and was featured by tower doors music an online music platform by Tower Records From there his voice began reaching beyond his hometown and gradually resonating with audiences outside his local scene Djangos music is not bound by genre or conventional form His emotionally expressive sound reflects the waves of his hometown Zushi sometimes calm sometimes violent but always deeply rooted in emotion
