Through Jesus

The theme of this song is "unity" and how this is done through Jesus, who is "the way, the truth, and the life. Once perfectly united, heaven and earth, and their relationship with God and man, were torn apart by human rebellion into a miserable state of sin, but God sent Jesus into the world to restore the relationship between God and man, and between man and man, so that heaven and earth would be united again. To fulfill this mission, Jesus left heaven and actually lived on earth, proclaiming the gospel of God on earth, saying, "The time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God has come. And just as Jesus' death on the cross rent the curtain to the Most Holy Place in the temple, the hanging curtain of His body, the perfect sacrifice for sin, enabled Him to draw near to God the Father, the Holy One, reconciling the relationship with God that had been torn apart by sin. Through His own broken body and blood, Jesus made Israel and the Gentiles one body, and made the two into one new person, the family of God, the people of the Kingdom of God. It is our hope that through this song we will look to Jesus, the fulfillment of God's plan, and praise Him as the Lord and Christ of all.
