Ludio, the NY-based rapper garnering attention for his viral hit "Totteoki," is set to release his new single "COUGH DROP (feat. Elle)" on February 25th.

Using "Cough Drops" (which soothe the throat) and "Caffeine" (which prompts awakening) as motifs, this mellow work depicts the "important things" we tend to lose sight of in daily life, as well as the subtle misunderstandings that occur between partners sitting right next to each other.

The track features Elle, an artist born in 2005 from Inage, Chiba. Elle has had a prolific year, releasing the EP "INAGE SUMMIT" in February, the collaborative work "120989" with beatmaker 808 Edi$on in June, and "TWO SIDES" in November. She is attracting attention in the scene for her genre-less style crossing R&B and Hip-Hop, and for lyrics that capture daily life from a unique perspective.

While Ludio expresses introspective conflict with lines like "The more I try to live correctly, the more I make mistakes / Nakedly piling up errors," Elle unfolds relatable, life-sized episodes such as "fighting over pizza," "yakiniku on an ordinary day," and "coordinated looks." The perspectives of two people in different locations cross over the beat created by warm, generating a groove that is both poignant and comforting.

Production is handled by warm. In addition to his activities as a rapper, warm has recently emerged as a notable beatmaker, providing tracks for artists like Siero and Jelly. His melodic sense is fully displayed in this work.

New York and Chiba. "COUGH DROP" links two talents with different distances and perspectives, resulting in a highly addictive track that slightly moistens the dryness of modern daily life.
