Central Cartel, a label based in central Kawasaki, has released its sixth monthly single, "My Hood," by rapper "JiLL" and beatmaker "Mill1."

Released as 2026 reaches its halfway point, this track is a highly energetic piece that perfectly encapsulates the momentum of their activities to date.

What's particularly noteworthy is how DJ SPACE KID scratches punchlines from rappers symbolizing the north and south of Kawasaki, creating a stylish interplay between him and "JiLL" in the hook.

Over the grand, epic beat crafted by "Mill1," heavy kicks and snares intertwine with intricately tuned hi-hats, while "JiLL" soars freely with an aggressive flow unlike anything heard before.

The lyrics include the striking line, "Being in adversity itself is energy,"

This vividly reflects "JiLL's" current position, as she continues to move forward, transforming her past struggles and experiences into strength.

As the title suggests, this song is filled with pride, respect, and determination for her own hood.

It can be considered a signal fire for Central Cartel heading into the second half of 2026.
