  Based in Tokyo, Kanata is a multi-creator who constructs immersive worlds that span sound, visuals, and narrative. Handling everything alone (from songwriting and composition to directing and editing music videos, and even story development), Kanata relentlessly pursues a distinctive form of expression. In July 2025, Kanata will officially launch a new solo endeavor as a three-member band formed with two childhood friends from junior high school.
