When I turn the page in silence

Senju Kannon smiles with grace

“Some things can’t be saved,” she said

“But walk on—this too is fate.”

Before the incense fades away

I ask what it means to be

Zoroaster, Socrates—

Between the gods and disbelief

Each time I walk inside the page

The world begins to softly speak

Fjords of silence, flames of Sodom

And sunrise from Mount Tai’s peak

Kawachi said with a wink

“Words are sacred, and obscene.”

And Atai laughed and rolled her eyes

“Totally—but that’s my scene.”

If words await me at journey’s end

Are they relics of what I’ve been?

Deep in the page, I see it shine—

The blue tomb of Soltaniyeh

Today again, I love the word

Tracing being, line by line

Embracing solitude’s heritage

I fall asleep, where meanings shine

Each time I walk inside the page

The world begins to softly speak

Fjords of silence, flames of Sodom

And sunrise from Mount Tai’s peak

Each time I walk inside the page

The world begins to softly speak

Fjords of silence, flames of Sodom

And sunrise from Mount Tai’s peak

The debut of the "Dictionary Journey Series" has arrived.

Based on entries 1658-1751 of the Kojien Seventh Edition,
Sen Tai weaves together philosophical poetry and a quietly expansive sonic landscape.
An unprecedented musical experience where travel, existence, solitude, fire, and prayer converge.

This is a new frontier where contemporary poetry meets sound,
dedicated to all who walk the path of language.
