This release is a cover of Hanemono by Spitz, featuring Kasane Teto on vocals.
The production stays faithful to the original, preserving its light melody and unique sense of floating atmosphere. Rather than making major changes to the arrangement, I focused on carefully crafting each part so that the character of the original song would come through.

Mashimo
Based in Tokyo, Mashimo is a solo artist weaving warm yet bittersweet J-POP and lyrical pop melodies. Featuring the vocal of Vocaloid, Mashimo has been immersed in music since childhood, starting with the acoustic guitar, and began full-scale composing and arranging in 2025. Inspired by the desire to express the fleeting melancholy and hope of everyday life through music, Mashimos work is deeply influenced by the songs of Spitz. In 2025, Mashimo released the debut single Tonikaku Mae e via Tunecore. The song delicately portrays people carrying sadness and doubt while still moving forward, connecting each listeners yesterday and tomorrow through its music. Although live performances have yet to be held, Mashimo is preparing to take the stage in upcoming shows. Mashimos music, while featuring a vocaloid, retains the warmth and lyrical sensibility reminiscent of Spitz. Specializing in conveying the simultaneous presence of melancholy and hope, Mashimo creates a unique emotional sway in music. Even at this early stage, the distinct musical core and worldview set Mashimo apart from other artists.
