My father and I didn't get along very well.

I nursed my father, Johnny Ohkura, until he fell ill, and when I left the hospital, a big full moon shone on me.

This is a message song that compares the bond between a parent and child to love.

Self-cover released in 2015

Artist Profile

  • Kenny Ohkura

He was born in Kanagawa Prefecture as the eldest son of Johnny Okura. After watching the movie "Chimpira" starring his father, he was impressed and decided to become an actor. At the age of 17, he passed an audition without telling his father. He plays a secondary role in the movie "Strawberries in the Storm". At this time, Johnny also appeared, his first co-starring parent and child. After that, he was selected from 300 auditions for the semi-lead role in Taichi Yamada's NHK Nagoya-produced Saturday drama "Nandaka Hito ga Koishite", after which he became a regular in many NHK Nagoya-produced dramas. He also made a guest appearance in "Junior High School Diary", and since then he has narrated numerous commercial dramas, movies, TV, radio, and commercials. As a musician, on April 13, 2018, he released his first solo single "Don't cry baby" and started full-scale solo activities.
