Orange Express

The official name of Hakone Ekiden is ``Tokyo-Hakone Round-trip University Ekiden Race,'' and it is a historic event. The event has been held 100 times. Each university in the Kanto region is making efforts every day to achieve this goal.

The title, Orange Express, is another name for Hosei University, and was inspired by the words the announcer said at the 77th tournament when the team ran first from the 2nd section to the middle of the 5th section.

As a cheering song for relay racers, I created a song with the image of my alma mater, Hosei University in particular. The joy of the actual race comes with a pain that only athletes who have practiced day in and day out can understand. I have created a song based on these thoughts and the rhythm of my heartbeat and running.
