The hit anime NANA, which sparked a social phenomenon in the 2000s, is currently experiencing a resurgence in popularity thanks to the Y2K fashion boom. Following this trend, the first-ever digital version of the live-action film NANA had a revival screening on July 11th last year to celebrate its 20th anniversary.

Riding this wave, she has self-covered "Wish / OLIVIA inspi' REIRA (TRAPNEST)"-the opening theme of the Nippon TV anime NANA-under her own name, OLIVIA, as "Wish -Reimagined-". rui (fade), who originally co-produced "Wish" with OLIVIA, returned to handle the arrangement just as he did for the original track.

After a 14-year hiatus from the music scene, her reunion with rui (fade) inspired her to resume her musical career. Starting with the release of this self-cover of "Wish / OLIVIA inspi' REIRA (TRAPNEST)" on August 28, 2026, she plans to release brand-new original songs in the future.

    1996年にD&Dとしてデビュー。その後、OLIVIAとしてソロ活動を開始。 1998年FIFAワールドカップ公式曲にて小室哲哉&ジャン・ミッシェル・ジャールと共演。 2006年アニメ『NANA』で OLIVIA inspi’ REIRA (TRAPNEST) 名にてA Little Pain、Wishを発売。LUNA SEAのINORANと楽曲Sailing Freeでコラボしゲーム『戦国BASARAバトルヒーローズ』に起用される。 2012年に結婚、長男を出産。音楽業界から離れてサンフランシスコへ移住。今年、2026年に代表曲のアニ メ「NANA」のオープニングテーマ「Wish」のセルフカバーを発売。このセルフカバーを皮切りに14年ぶり に音楽活動を再開する。
