Lyric

The goddess said

Hitomi Shimatani

Hitomi Shimatani, an artist whose unique voice and overwhelming presence have long graced the music scene, will release her highly anticipated NEW ALBUM 'Liberty Bus' on September 3, 2025-her first in about four years. Having marked her 25th anniversary in 2024, she begins a "new departure" in her 26th year as an artist with this album in 2025. This eleventh album, 'Liberty Bus', was born from a strong desire to deliver even a little "bright light" and 'hope' in this era of ongoing social stagnation and confusion. Its theme is "a bus journey toward a place of freedom." It's a conceptual album designed so each listener can unfold their own mental map and imagine a journey toward their unique future. It consists of 10 tracks, including songs previously available only as digital downloads and new songs written by Shimada herself.
It is an album where the message of "the current Hitomi Shimatani" resonates directly, truly serving as the soundtrack to the journey of life.
