[About Zimbabwe]
> Located in Southern Africa, Zimbabwe is a country that boasts African nature and culture, including the World Heritage site of Victoria Falls and forms of Christianity that have developed uniquely within the region.
> It was once the seat of advanced civilizations like the Kingdom of Great Zimbabwe; after a period of British colonial rule beginning in the late 19th century, the country achieved independence in 1980.
> During the hyperinflation of 2008, a 100-trillion-dollar banknote was worth only 1 dollar; today, however, the nation is forging a future driven by agriculture and mining, supported by an education system that ranks among the best in Africa.
